About Overcoats
Cut to go over a suit
An overcoat is patterned with the jacket beneath it in mind, so it closes cleanly over a suit without pulling across the back, and the length is set against your height rather than a size. The chest is canvassed, so the front holds its line through a winter of wear.
The cloth
Camel, cashmere blends, tweed and heavy wool, chosen at the consultation. A coat is the one garment where the weight of the cloth matters most, so we will talk through how you travel and how cold the places you wear it get.
Booking
A consultation takes about an hour, at the atelier in London or at your office in town. The £50 that holds it is credited in full to your commission.
