Terms of use

Last updated September 2026

These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Carnegie Atelier Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17291758. Our registered office is 16 Beaufort Court, Admirals Way, Canary Wharf, London, E14 9XL.

You can contact us at hello@carnegie-atelier.example.

2. The site is a lookbook, not a shop

This website presents a collection and a made-to-measure tailoring service. It does not sell goods online. There is no basket, no checkout and no online payment.

Prices, fabrics, availability and any figures shown are for information only, may change without notice, and do not constitute an offer. Nothing on the site forms a contract. Any commission is subject to a separate agreement made with you directly.

3. Enquiries you send us

When you submit an enquiry or request a fitting, you agree to give accurate information and to have the authority to provide any contact details you enter. We use what you send as described in our privacy policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in any way that breaks the law or any regulation;
  • submit false, abusive or unlawful content through our forms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any system connected to it;
  • introduce malicious code, or place undue load on the site through automated means;
  • copy, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes without our permission.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photography, graphics, the Carnegie Atelier name and logo, and its layout and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise use them without our written permission.

TO CONFIRM: current photography on the site is placeholder material and is being replaced with the company's own commissioned images before launch.

6. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

7. Links to other sites

Where the site links to a third-party website, that link is for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of any external site.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for any business loss, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content. The site is provided for private use; if you use it for a commercial purpose you do so at your own risk.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

These terms are a working draft prepared alongside the build of the site and must be reviewed and approved by the company and its legal adviser before the site is made public. They are not legal advice.
