Cut for you
A made to measure piece begins from a house block and is adjusted to your figure, so the shoulder, the waist and the length are yours rather than a size chart's. You do not need to know your measurements beforehand: they are taken at the first appointment and kept on file for next time.
The cloth
Wool, linen, silk, cashmere and bouclé, from summer weights to winter tweeds. Cloth is chosen with you at the consultation, against your colouring and a clear idea of where the piece will be worn.
Booking
The consultation takes about an hour, at the atelier in London or at your office in town. The £50 that holds it is credited in full to your commission.
