About Race days
Dress codes
The Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot asks for morning dress; the other enclosures, and most race meetings, ask for a suit and tie. A morning coat can be made to measure alongside everything here, and we will go through the current dress code with you at the consultation.
The cloth
Linen and lightweight wool for the summer meetings, tweed and flannel for the jumps season through the winter. A suit for the races is worn from late morning into the evening, so it is cut with that in mind.
Booking
Allow time before the meeting. A consultation takes about an hour, at the atelier in London or at your office in town, and the £50 that holds it is credited in full to your commission.
